Mufaro Gwatidzo

We would like to introduce Mufaro to you, and for you to get to know the journey that led to her becoming part of the Catalyst Foundation – S.H.E Programme, a little bit more.

Mufaro joined the Catalyst Foundation – S.H.E Programme in 2022, as one of our beneficiary’s from the Beatrice district in Zimbabwe. She really loves the colour pink, eating rice, with any protein available, and gardening at home.

Before joining the S.H.E Programme, Mufaro had numerous barriers that prevented her from going to school and attaining an education. Mufaro’s parents are both unemployed, but sometimes, they are able to work for nearby community members in their fields to earn some money, which has resulted in extreme poverty being experienced within the family.

Miriro Mukavi

We would like to introduce Miriro to you, and for you to get to know the journey that led to her becoming part of the Catalyst Foundation – S.H.E Programme, a little bit more.

Miriro joined the Catalyst Foundation – S.H.E Programme in 2022, as one of our beneficiary’s from the Beatrice district in Zimbabwe. She really loves the colour pink, eating rice, with any protein available, and her hobbies include reading novels and playing volleyball.

Before joining the S.H.E Programme, Miriro had numerous barriers that prevented her from going to school and attaining an education. When Miriro was six years old, her father passed away, and her mother abandoned her for a better life. Luckily, her uncle and aunt adopted her and her three siblings, but they unable to fully support them with their basic needs, due to their unstable financial situation.

Meet Maita Isa

We would like to introduce Maita to you, and for you to get to know the journey that led to her becoming part of the Catalyst Foundation – S.H.E Programme, a little bit more.

Maita joined the Catalyst Foundation – S.H.E Programme in 2022, as one of our beneficiary’s from the Beatrice district in Zimbabwe. She really loves the colour blue, eating rice, with any protein available, and her hobbies include knitting and making clothes.

Before joining the S.H.E Programme, Maita had numerous barriers that prevented her from going to school and attaining an education. Maita’s parents separated when she was young, and both of them remarried, moving away and abandoning her. She was left in the hands of her Aunt, along with her seven siblings, who now looks after them.

Gire Zimheni

We would like to introduce Gire to you, and for you to get to know the journey that led to her becoming part of the Catalyst Foundation – S.H.E Programme, a little bit more.

Gire joined the Catalyst Foundation – S.H.E Programme in 2022, as one of our beneficiary’s from the Beatrice district in Zimbabwe. She really loves the colour pink and eating rice, with any protein available.

Before joining the S.H.E Programme, Gire had numerous barriers that prevented her from going to school and attaining an education. Gire’s family financial situation was incredibly unstable. They were unable to meet their basic daily needs, and as a result,

Danai Machivi

We would like to introduce Danai to you, and for you to get to know the journey that led to her becoming part of the Catalyst Foundation – S.H.E Programme, a little bit more.

Danai joined the Catalyst Foundation – S.H.E Programme in 2022, as one of our beneficiary’s from the Beatrice district in Zimbabwe. She really loves the colour blue, eating sadza (a traditional Zimbabwean starch), with any protein available and playing netball.

Before joining the S.H.E Programme, Danai had numerous barriers that prevented her from going to school and attaining an education. Danai’s parents separated, and her father abandoned her, resulting in her living with her mother.

Chihera Mashoko

We would like to introduce Chihera to you, and for you to get to know the journey that led to her becoming part of the Catalyst Foundation – S.H.E Programme, a little bit more.

Chihera joined the Catalyst Foundation – S.H.E Programme in 2022, as one of our beneficiary’s from the Beatrice district in Zimbabwe. She really loves the colour blue, eating hot dogs, and her main hobby includes reading Shona novels.

Before joining the S.H.E Programme, Chihera had numerous barriers that prevented her from going to school and attaining an education.

At a very young age, she lost both her parents which affected her tremendously.

Anodiwa Vheremu

We would like to introduce Anodiwa to you, and for you to get to know the journey that led to her becoming part of the Catalyst Foundation – S.H.E Programme, a little bit more.

Anodiwa joined the Catalyst Foundation – S.H.E Programme in 2022, as one of our beneficiary’s from the Beatrice district in Zimbabwe. She really loves the colour yellow, eating rice, and her main hobby includes reading English novels and singing at church on a Sunday.

Before joining the S.H.E Programme, Anodiwa had numerous barriers that prevented her from going to school and attaining an education. Anodiwa’s parents separated when she was young, leaving her no choice but to live with her elderly grandparents, whom are unable to fully meet her basic needs, due to their age.

Anesu Mbangami

We would like to introduce Anesu to you, and for you to get to know the journey that led to her becoming part of the Catalyst Foundation – S.H.E Programme, a little bit more.

Anesu joined the Catalyst Foundation – S.H.E Programme in 2022, as one of our beneficiary’s from the Beatrice district in Zimbabwe. She really loves the colour light pink, eating potatoes, with any protein available and playing volleyball.

Before joining the S.H.E Programme, Anesu had numerous barriers that prevented her from going to school and attaining an education. Anesu’s parents divorced when she was young, and both married other partners. Her mother is a street vendor and her father is unemployed.

Anerudo Mazivanhango

We would like to introduce Anerudo to you, and for you to get to know the journey that led to her becoming part of the Catalyst Foundation – S.H.E Programme, a little bit more.

Anerudo joined the Catalyst Foundation – S.H.E Programme in 2022, as one of our beneficiary’s from the Beatrice district in Zimbabwe. She really loves the colour black, eating fresh potato chips, and her hobbies include playing netball.
Before joining the S.H.E Programme, Anerudo had numerous barriers that prevented her from going to school and attaining an education. In 2016, her father passed away, resulting in her mother struggling to support her and her six siblings. Aneruo’s older brother decided to drop out of school to assist her mother with looking after the family.

Anaishe Grace
