Daniele Zanin

Marketing &
Communications Manager

We would like to introduce to you and for you to get to know Daniele, one of our key team members, a little bit more.

Daniele currently resides in Harare, Zimbabwe and joined the S.H.E Team full-time in 2022. Daniele has a great scope of knowledge in the Marketing sector.

We asked Daniele to share with us more information about himself and his experiences so far as part of the Catalyst Foundation Team:

“It has been a tremendous honour to be part of an organisation that is driven to create an impact in the lives of vulnerable individuals. It feels amazing to be part of a Team that is focused on its goals and that works together to empower the girl-child as one family. I have thoroughly enjoyed working alongside all my colleagues so far, and I have learnt a lot from each one of them.

When I met our beneficiaries for the first time, I was extremely emotional. For a while, whilst working part-time for the Catalyst Foundation, I would only see our S.H.E girls through pictures and videos when posting them on our social media platforms, so to see them in the flesh was amazing. Witnessing the impact firsthand of the incredible work that we are doing to empower them through education makes all the hard work and long hours so worth it.

One of my fondest memories whilst working alongside our beneficiaries was when we were setting up our S.H.E Programme in Zambia, and we distributed all our girls’ basic supplies to them. Many of our beneficiaries come from extreme poverty, and seeing their faces light up and their eyes sparkle with joy when they received their food hampers, brand-new school uniforms, along many more items was truly priceless!

Looking into the Catalyst Foundation’s future, I am excited about continuing to expand the S.H.E Programme across Africa and also, potentially setting up different Programmes that strive to empower vulnerable individuals in the United Kingdom and Macedonia.

To our beneficiaries, never change who you are. You were chosen to be holistically supported through the S.H.E Programme for a reason. Grab every opportunity that comes your way, and if you continue to work hard, great things will come your way! Stay positive and never give up hope, no matter how difficult your challenges may be – know that we are always here for you and that we are one big orange family, forever and always.”
