Arnold Dlodlo

S.H.E. Programme Manager for
Tsholotsho (Zimbabwe) District

We would like to introduce to you and for you to get to know Arnold, one of our key team members, a little bit more.

Arnold currently resides in Tsholotsho, Zimbabwe, and is married to Privilege, with whom we are blessed to have two beautiful daughters. Arnold pursued his tertiary education at Mindlands State University in Zimbabwe, where he qualified with a Bachelor of Arts in History and International Studies, in 2014.

We asked Arnold to share with us more information about himself and his experiences so far as part of the Catalyst Foundation Team:

“I have had an excellent and wonderful experience so far whilst working as part of the S.H.E Team. Their passion for the empowerment of the girl-child is incredible and inspiring. They have been supportive in my initiation and full integration as a full-time member of the team. To date, I have formed great functional relationships with the beneficiaries I work closely with in Tsholotsho, and the wider community has been forthcoming in supporting the programme and the impact that we are trying to create there.

I have many sweet and fond memories of my time so far, but the most memorable is definitely when the CEO of the Catalyst Foundation informed me that I was going to be appointed as the new Tsholotsho Programme Manager in 2023. This was a ‘wow’ moment for me and I will forever be grateful for this opportunity that has been given to me. For the first time after the completion of my tertiary education, I can confidently say that I have fulfilled my dream. My dream has always been to be part and parcel of something bigger and be involved in an organisation where I can make an impact, whilst utilizing my skills and energy. Now that my dream has turned into a reality, I am extremely excited for what my future holds and those of the S.H.E girls that I will be working with.

To all of our beneficiaries, I believe you were chosen to be part of the S.H.E Project for a reason. Let’s conquer all the obstacles that may arise before you together and tell the world our story. Wishing you all the best in your journey with the Catalyst Foundation.”
