The ‘Psychosocial Evaluations’ that we conduct are a vital part of the formulation of our tailored, support plans for all of our beneficiaries. These evaluations take an in-depth look into the combined influence that psychological factors (emotional, mental, social and spiritual needs), and the surrounding social environment has on our beneficiaries’ physical and mental wellness, and their ability to function.
Through these psychosocial evaluations, we are able to identify the various psychological and social challenges that our S.H.E girls are facing, such as being a victim of child abuse to the mourning of a parent. Knowing these details enables us to strategically formulate support plans that allows every beneficiary to receive the help needed in order to be able to fully focus on their education.
