The S.H.E Team have begun their beneficiary ‘Home Visits’, where they aim to establish relationships with our beneficiaries’ care-givers, and communicate to them the S.H.E Programme’s goals and values, so that they are able to fully understand what will be expected from them. An assessment will also be made of their current living conditions, within their everyday home setup.
Going forward, these home visits will be used as a communication platform for the S.H.E Team to discuss issues with the various care-givers, such as: the beneficiary’s school performance, behaviour, school attendance and any problems pertaining to the well-being of the beneficiary.
Lastly, the Team will also identify ways, together with the care-givers, that we could support them with attaining self-sustenance, through any small project that they see fit. Once these have been agreed to, funding will be provided, and strategies will be put into place to ensure that these small projects run as efficiently as possible
