Before joining the S.H.E Programme, Anodiwa’s grandparents were unable to pay for her school fees, uniforms and stationery. Through our holistic support, we were able to remove all of her barriers, allowing Anodiwa to go back to school and continue with her education. We were able to identify, through our health check examinations, a few health issues that Anodiwa had, such as an Urinary Tract Infection (UTI), painful knees, severe stomach pain and she had high levels of protein in her urine. From this analysis, we have now addressed all of these issues, and now she is perfectly healthy. Her family can now have three daily meals, and they have peace of mind, knowing that her basic needs are taken care of, when it comes to her education. Once Anodiwa finishes her secondary schooling, she has dreams of going to university to become an Accountant.
We asked Anodiwa to share with what the
Catalyst Foundation – S.H.E Programme means to her:
“The support that I receive from my S.H.E family and teacher at school has greatly built my self-esteem and confidence. I came to know my rights and the importance of staying in school and receiving an education.”
