Our S.H.E Clubs that have been recently set up at Chiyabamanzi and Kalebuka Primary schools in the district of Chibombo in rural Zambia are aimed at facilitating inclusive learning, by using a student-centred learning approach, addressing and focusing on topics such as:
- Sexual Reproductive Health Rights (SHR)
- Mental health & bullying,
- Climate change & WASH,
- Career guidance and counseling,
- Career mentorship, and
- STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics).
The S.H.E Clubs are held weekly at both schools, where conversations are stirred up among the students (boys and girls), for the best solutions to challenges that young people face as barriers to education, but also as barriers to leadership.
As time goes on, we look forward to opening up the clubs to the entire Chibombo community, creating greater impact.
